In October 2019, Maestro Zubin Mehta will step down from his music directorship of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra after 50 years. In anticipation of this day, American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (AFIPO) in partnership with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra Foundation, is stewarding special fundraising initiatives, which will provide giving opportunities for programs that are of profound importance to Maestro Mehta and to the future of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
