Our Voices
We asked friends and orchestra members what they wanted to share about the IPO.
Sharon Gabriel, Chair of San Diego Friends of the IPO: “The beauty of the music, the community, and the artistry have always filled me with pride…. Nothing makes me prouder to be Jewish and a friend of Israel than the IPO: Israel’s great cultural ambassador.”
Yoel Abadi, IPO horn player and Chairman of the management of the Orchestra: “Our structure is unique and collaborative; musicians run the orchestra, together with our administrative branch. It gives everything a different meaning. We are much more appreciative and aware of what goes into what you see on stage!”
Stacey Bronfman, Co-Chair of NY Gala: “Giving to children who have nothing except music means a lot. I’m so proud to be involved in giving them this outlet. And I’m honored to support an orchestra that dedicates itself to these endeavors. The dedication of these musicians is unbelievable.” Pictured: Stacey and son Coby in front of the IPO’s Charles Bronfman Auditorium.
