The AFIPO Los Angeles Gala honors the career of Stanley Silverman, an award-winning American composer for both classical and popular music, as well as in theater and film. The evening features a private performance by brass musicians of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, dinner, and a dessert reception (Dietary Laws Observed).

We believe that music moves the world. Founded 81 years ago during the holocaust to save the lives of Europe’s Jewish musicians, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra proudly serves as Israel’s preeminent cultural emissary, traveling the globe to share its profound message of peace, mutual respect, and excellence through music.

Your integral support helps to strengthen the transformative music education offerings of the orchestra, which impact over 21,000 young people yearly from every race and religion in Israel. Thanks to your important patronage, we can continue to bring Israel’s resilient spirit to audiences throughout the world.
