IPO United States Tour - Oct. 2012

 

The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra returns to the United States under the direction of Maestro Zubin Mehta and featuring pianist Yuja Wang. Beginning in New York on October 25th with a performance at Carnegie Hall, the IPO then travels to Palm Springs, Las Vegas, concluding the tour in Los Angeles on October 30th.

Special guest soloists in New York include baritone Thomas Hampson, tenor Carl Hieger, and The Collegiate Chorale, each appearing in the New York premiere of Noam Sheriff’s Mechaye Hametim. Thomas Hampson will also perform as the speaker in Schoenberg's Kol Nidre.
