Family Music Day 2011

American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra held its annual Family Music Day on Sunday, December 11, 2011, featuring a talented group of performers, led by the amazing pianist Orli Shaham.
Over 200 children and adults enjoyed this sold-out event, held at Asia Society, which included interactive and educational music stations, an entertaining concert, followed by brunch and amusing activities. Celebrating the joy of classical music, multiple generations gathered for a most delightful and fun-filled morning! Funds raised from this event will benefit the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra’s KeyNote Education and Outreach Programwhich brings classical music to over 29,000 school children in Israel each year.
